Spouse and Dependents

While a transition from military to civilian professions can prove difficult for active-duty service members, it is often even more so for their spouses and children.
Even for the most adept military professionals, trying to balance new career education with the demands of relocation, reintegration, marriage and/or parenting can be a formidable task.
If you are the spouse or dependent of an active service member, Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA) is here to help relieve a portion of the financial stress associated with your desire to improve your skills and expertise by offering military benefits for spouses. Our Military Financial Aid Representatives can answer your program eligibility questions and help you determine which reduced rates you qualify for.
Other resources for military spouse education include the Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) — which helps families connect with local resources before, during and after deployments* — and the Survivor's and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) program, which provides up to 45 months of education benefits for degree and certificate programs, apprenticeships and on-the-job training.
To maximize your education-related military spouse benefits, choose your degree and fill out the form or contact a UMA Financial Aid Advisor at 888-205-1001.
